Biriyani & Kebab Festival at Durbari

Staffs and Service – Staffs are extremely courteous and well trained and service is prompt.
We Panchphoron team went on a food tasting event named – ” Biriyani and Kebab Festival ” .
The Dishes We Had :

Kiwi Mojito –
a non alcoholic green drink was very cool & refreshing.

Apple Mojito – Apple, mint & lime were added in this non alcoholic mojito and was very refreshing.

Roasted Papad –
we were served masala papad and rice papad with a variety of dips. Masala papad with tamarind chutney was the best.

Masala Chaas – an Indian spiced buttermilk , a good appetiser , healthy and a perfect drink for summer.

Veg kebab platter-

Sabj sahi potli –
Indian spiced vegetable and nuts staffed in bread. Potli are like small packets or bag . It was unique , well presented and yummy. Highly recommended… !!

Jatuni malai Paneer Roll –
Cottage cheese roll stuffed with olives marinated with cream cooked in tandoor. This was soft and yummy.

Rajma aur palak ki galouti kabab –
A vegetarian protein packed kebab with Rajma and spinach was soft and yummy.

Makhmali dahi kebab –
Deep fried melting yogurt petty. It was very soft and creamy and super delicious.

Non-veg kebab platter –

Bhati da jhinga –
Pan fried prawn marinated with green. Jumbo prawn marinated with spices, coriander fried in Pan. It was succulent and had perfect spice balance.

Sahi badami machli tikka –
Tandoor roasted fish flavored with nuts. It was soft, succulent and melted in the mouth and the addition of nuts enhanced the flavour.

Bharwan tangri kebab –
Tandoor roasted chicken drumstick filled with Spinach, mushroom and cheese. It was lip smacking. Highly recommended…. !!

Gosht shami kebab – ] It is composed of a small patty of minced or ground meat (lamb or mutton ), with ground chickpeas, egg to hold it together, and spices. Shami kebab is eaten as a snack or an appetizer. It was soft and yummy.

Dal Durbari –This simple dal made with toovar and masoor dals is transformed when curds and cream are added to it. The curds provides the right amount of tanginess. It was thick and awesome.

Butter Nan –
Soft , spongy and well made.

Dum Gosht Biryani – Lamb cooked with saffron flavoured basmati rice in sealed pot. The biriyani was aromatic and cooked awesomely with succulent meat pieces. A must try… !!

Desserts –

Chukandar ka halwa –
It’s beetroot halwa, almost same like Gajar ka halwa, it had perfect sweetness balance and was healthy and yummy. A unique item !!

Rasmalai – Very well presented , aromatic and tasted heavenly with perfect sweetness balance.

Home made Ice Cream (Nolen Gur flavour) – Though I am not a fan of nolengur icecream, but it was beautifully presented and smelled nice.
It’s truly an awesome place to have food with your friends and family or a business meet etc. The ambience , food, staffs, crockery etc are just mind blowing. Though pricey , but the experience would be unmatched.
